Our Story
Thegirlzkornermakeupstoreuk began with a love for beauty and a bold vision. In 2013, founder Damilola Oduja developed a deep passion for makeup that eventually grew into something much bigger. While studying Agriculture in her final year at Kwara State University, Malete, she launched Thegirlzkorner as an online beauty store on January 29, 2018, right from her student room in Ilorin, Nigeria.
With consistency, integrity, and a loyal community, Thegirlzkorner grew from a one-woman startup into a thriving brand known for authenticity and excellence in the Nigerian beauty market.
Our Growth
In 2020, we celebrated a major milestone: the opening of our first walk-in store in Nigeria. This allowed us to build deeper relationships with customers, expand our inventory, and become a go-to destination for genuine makeup and skincare products across the country.
As our reach grew, so did our vision.
